Is Triaba Kenya worth your time? Find out here.

Triaba Kenya
If you are reading this post then i believe you are trying to find out if you can make real money doing online surveys with Triaba Kenya. The following is my honest review about this survey site, and after going through it  you will be in a position to make an informed decision.

What is Triaba Kenya?
Triaba Kenya is part of triaba, an online survey company based in Norway(according to surveyssay.com).
Triaba is part of CINT,an international company that does market research for various companies and organizations all over the world. In order to carry out market research and analysis, CINT partners with various online survey sites Triaba being one of them. Using these survey sites, CINT gives out research question in form of surveys, collect feedback, do a scientific analysis and hand over the final report to the company in question.
If you therefore apply to be part of Triaba Kenya survey panel, the questions you will be filling in come from CINT, and hence get paid by CINT.
Triaba has survey panelists in over 60 countries world wide including Australia, US, Germany, India among others. African countries include South Africa, Kenya, Tunisia,Nigeria, Morroco, Egypt and codevore. Other Survey sites that accept African panelists include Mobrog.
It is therefore among the very few Survey sites that accept Kenyan members under Triaba Kenya.

How to sign up for Triaba Kenya.
Like most online survey sites, Triaba Kenya has a very simple signup process and is absolutely free. If you are a Kenyan Citicen of above 18 years and have some free time to spare you can easily sign up for Triaba Kenya by following the simple steps below:
  • Go to triaba Kenya
  • Click on the sign up button.
  • Fill in your basic details including your email address
  • A confirmation link will be sent to your sign up email. Click this link to activate your account and you are now officially a Triaba Kenya panelist.
In order to receive Triaba Kenya Survey questions you have to first answer a number of profile questions in sections which include education, occupation, food and beverage, entertainment, hobbies, media, travel, health, mother and baby, research and religion.
Almost all survey sites require you to fill in such profile questions to be used to determine your suitability for various surveys.
However, Triaba Kenya like many survey panels that are under CINT have so many of such questions which to me looks like they are looking for responses in the name of demoghraphic questions and therefore this makes me question their sincerity in the African market.

Participating in Triaba Kenya Surveys.
Once you have successfully registered and answered all the profile questions you are now eligible to participate in paid online surveys from triaba Kenya.
When a survey is available for you to fill, Triaba will send you the survey link to your e-mail. To participate in the survey click on the link and you are good to go. It is good to note the following:
  • Receiving the survey link is not a guarantee that you will participate in the survey because of various reasons, the common being that the survey will automatically close once the respondents reach the required number. A case of first come first serve basis apply here and in most online assignments.
  • There are no specific number of surveys that you will receive per day, week or month. So signing up is not an automatic indication that you will now earn consistently from Triaba or any other survey site for that matter.
How does Triaba Kenya pay it's panelists?
Each and every survey you fill on Triaba Kenya earns you between $ 0.13-$3.25. The amount depends on the duration of the survey, with USD.0.13 for less than 2 minute surveys and any survey more than 36 minutes earning you USD.3.25.
When you successfully complete a survey on time you earn points, the number varying depending on the number of reasons including the length of the survey.
Once you have accumulated enough points with a minimum of 100 points you can convert them to Gcodes.
When you have accumulated at least USD 10 worth of G-codes you can redeem them for various prices including mobile top up, event tickets, Amazon gift cards etc.
While Triaba accepts cash redemption in other countries through PayPal, this option is not available in Kenya and this means that you can't earn real cash on Triaba Kenya although on their site they say that this is coming soon. I will update this post to reflect that once I note  they have introduced this.
Apart from filling online surveys, you can also participate in various contests and stand a chance to win.
One distinct feature about Triaba is that if you remain inactive for a period of time your points will become inactive and will no longer show on your account. But you can reactivate them by sending them an email. If however you remain inactive for a longer period,(more than 2 years) your account will be deleted and you will loose all the earned points.

Is Triaba Kenya worth your Time?
We can answer this question to a hire degree of accuracy based on the above discussion.
First let's look at the pros and cones of Triaba Kenya
PROS:
  • Triaba Kenya is among the very few sites that operate in Kenya. Many international survey sites don't accept panelists from Africa Kenya included and for Triaba to venture into Kenya is a great move.
  • It has a free and easy sign up process. You are not charged anything to sign up for triaba.
CONS:
  • You are not guaranteed a given number of surveys per day or week. From my experience with them, it might even take you more than three months before you receive a single survey from them.
  • Triaba Kenya does not pay real money. When you successfully complete a survey with triaba you will be awarded points which you can redeem the for G-codes.
  • Does not have a referral program. Unlike Survey sites like mobrog which also pay you when you refer a friend or a family member, Triaba only encourages you to do so.
  • In case Triaba feels that you didn't answer a given surveys as truthfully as you should you are awarded a negative in your account meaning instead of you making money you will owe them. The points in your next survey will be deducted to compensate for the negative. Now what happens if you will keep on getting negative points?
Conclusion:
If you have some extra time and data, you can sign up for Triaba but don't expect to make any meaningful income from it.
In fact, considering all the above factors I strongly suggest you don't waste your time with them.
For those looking for serious ways to make money online in Kenya you better find other alternatives than online surveys.

Workmines review. Is workmines finally gone under?

It was a simple SMS that promised I could earn up to Ksh.8,400 approximately USD.84 per week just watching YouTube and Netflix ads. First I didn't mind about it. But then, something got my attention. This was an online money making opportunity, promising to pay good money and in local currencies.....This looked good to be true. I immediately started doing my research about this site, and as it turned out there was a catch. Knowing that many would fall for this scam, I published my review which I explained in detail why I would not sign up for such a deal, and hope I helped those who came across it. For those who weren't aware that this was a scam, sorry but take it as a lesson learned the hard way. Is Workmines no more? As from June 6th, the beautifully designed Workmines website and their Android app are no more, a clear indictation that there is nothing much members can do now and don't expect a miracle to happen.
